Architecture and Urbanism is an interdisciplinary field of knowledge whose scope of professional activities includes the study and design of both open and built spaces. The Architecture and Urbanism Program at UFPR is one of the four most competitive programs in the UFPR Entrance Exam, structured as a full-time course (mornings and afternoons). It aims to train generalist professionals capable of understanding and responding to the needs of individuals, social groups, and communities in the conception, organization, and construction of spaces, encompassing buildings, landscapes, and cities, as well as the conservation and preservation of built and socio-environmental heritage. The program integrates knowledge from the human sciences, the arts, and technology.
