Our international agreements are the foundation for mobility programs for students and faculty, joint research projects, and double degree programs, strengthening academic excellence and our community’s global perspective.
International Academic Mobility (MAI) Partners
UFPR’s general cooperation agreements allow for mobility to various destinations. In these cases, the student generally covers their own costs while being exempt from academic fees at the partner university. Below are some of the main destinations.

Technology Sector Double Degree Partners
These programs allow students to obtain a diploma from both UFPR and the partner university. They have specific calls for applications and rules, which are published on the official page.

CAPES/Brafitec Program – Technology Sector (2025/2027 Cycle)
The following details the mobility opportunities to France through the CAPES/Brafitec program for the Technology Sector (ST) courses, in accordance with the project currently in force for the 2025/2027 cycle.
The spots are divided into two main types:
- Double Degree: The student studies for an extended period (generally 2 years) at the partner institution and, at the end, obtains a diploma from both the home and host universities.
- Simple Mobility (10 months): The student studies for approximately one academic year at the partner institution to earn credits that will be validated in their home course.

- Modality: Double Degree
- Institutions: ENSEIRB-MATMECA (Bordeaux), ENSICAEN (Caen), ENSEA (Cergy-Pontoise), ENSTA-BRETAGNE.
- Modality: Simple Mobility (10 months)
- Institutions: Telecom Physique Strasbourg (TPS), TSE (Saint-Étienne), CPE-Lyon.
Chemical Engineering
- Modality: Simple Mobility (10 months)
- Institutions: ENSC-Mulhouse, CPE-Lyon, ENSIACET-Toulouse, ENSC-Lille, ENSC-Rennes, and ENSI-Caen.
Mechanical Engineering
- Modality: Double Degree
- Institutions: UTC (Compiègne), UTT (Troyes), UTBM (Belfort-Montbéliard).
- Modality: Simple Mobility (10 months)

Industrial Engineering
- Modality: Double Degree
- Institution: UTT (Troyes).
