Six Chemical Engineering Students Selected to Study in France through the CAPES/BRAFITEC Program

Starting in August, six undergraduate students from UFPR’s Chemical Engineering program will begin an international academic experience at leading French engineering schools participating in the PROCHIMI Project through the CAPES/BRAFITEC program.

The students  will study at French institutions that maintain Double Degree agreements with UFPR’s Chemical Engineering program:

Since 2013, UFPR’s Chemical Engineering program has actively participated in the CAPES/BRAFITEC program, promoting academic mobility between Brazil and France through student exchanges and the development of long-term institutional partnerships.

The year 2026 marks a historic milestone for the program, with the largest group of students ever selected for international mobility in a single year. It is also the first time that every selected student will attend a French institution offering a Double Degree agreement with UFPR, reflecting the continued strengthening of academic cooperation between the partner institutions.

The PROCHIMI Project currently brings together UFPR, UFSC, UFVJM and six leading French engineering schools, strengthening more than a decade of academic cooperation between Brazil and France.
