Descrição: O projeto tem como objetivo Capacitar, subsidiar e multiplicar o conhecimento na comunidade acadêmica e na sociedade.
Ele atua em quatro frentes:
1. Capacitação de alunos e professores para a multiplicação de conhecimentos de engenharia na comunidade acadêmica da UFPR e também na sociedade;
2. Criação e desenvolvimento de soluções, inovações e melhorias em projetos de engenharia;
3. Projeto de peças, equipamento e soluções de engenharia em geral;
4. Prototipagem de ideias, componentes em geral.
Ele tem as seguintes vantagens para a comunidade acadêmica:
– Potencializar os projetos de extensão;
– Dar suporte no desenvolvimento de projetos de conclusão de curso;
– Aprender a utilizar novas tecnologias;
– Troca de experiências com profissionais e estudantes de outras áreas;
– Ter a oportunidade de aplicar os conceitos teóricos;
– Fazer visitas técnicas nas empresas parceiras.

2024- Atual | CAPACITAÇÃO E ATUALIZAÇÃO EM TECNOLOGIA ASSISTIVA
Descrição: O projeto de Extensão “Capacitação e Atualização em Tecnologia Assistiva” conta com a parceria da Secretaria de Saúde da Prefeitura Municipal e Curitiba, e tem como objetivo fomentar a parceria de extensão na UFPR, a fim de transferir o conhecimento de ensino e pesquisa sobre Tecnologia Assistiva à comunidade.

2020- 2022 | REDE UFPR DE COMBATE AO COVID-19
Descrição: O projeto da Rede UFPR de combate ao COVID-19 é formado pelas ações integradas de um grupo multidisciplinar formado pela união de diversos setores e departamentos da Universidade Federal do Paraná. A Rede UFPR de combate ao COVID-19 associa a expertise de profissionais e pesquisadores da Saúde, Engenharia, Exatas, Tecnologia, Design e com o apoio da FUNPAR e Ministério Público do Trabalho do Paraná, Centro de Apoio Científico em Desastres (CENACID), de professores, pesquisadores, alunos e da comunidade. Algumas das ações estão divulgadas e formalizadas na CHAMADA PARA DIVULGAÇÃO DE AÇÕES VOLUNTÁRIAS EXTENSIONISTAS DE ENFRENTAMENTO AO NOVO CORONAVÍRUS, como Ações integradas- Produção de máscaras: impressão 3D, injeção e outros – UFPR rede combate COVID19; Ações integradas- Produção de protetores para leitos e ambulâncias – UFPR rede combate COVID19 e as Ações integradas – Demandas de Design Gráfico – UFPR rede combate COVID19.
