Chemical Engineering: Three Students Head to France through CAPES/BRAFITEC

Three Chemical Engineering students from UFPR are set to spend a year studying and gaining experience in France through the PROCHIMI Project, which is part of the CAPES/BRAFITEC program.

Selected in April of this year, Thiago Bernardi, Felippe Chaves Delvan Neto, and Marina Neres Lopes are heading to excellent institutions in the field. Thiago will attend the École Nationale Supérieure de Chimie de Lille, while Felippe and Marina will go to the École Nationale Supérieure de Ingénieurs en Arts Chimiques et Technologiques in Toulouse.

The project coordinator, Professor Alexandre Ferreira Santos, emphasizes that UFPR Chemical Engineering students interested in mobility to France should invest in studying both French and English.

The project offers four annual scholarships for a 12-month mobility period at six French Chemical Engineering schools. Selections generally take place between March and April.

📌 Tip: Start studying the languages now to increase your chances in the next selection!
