Embora multidisciplinar por natureza, o curso est\u00e1 centralizado no Departamento de Engenharia de Bioprocessos e Biotecnologia (DEBB), que concentra a maior parte das atividades de ensino, pesquisa e extens\u00e3o.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>O DEBB disp\u00f5e de uma infraestrutura laboratorial e educacional ampla e moderna, distribu\u00edda em dois pr\u00e9dios principais: o CENBAPAR (Centro de Biotecnologia do Paran\u00e1) e as Usinas Piloto B. Juntos, esses espa\u00e7os somam uma \u00e1rea total de 2.550 m\u00b2 dedicados ao desenvolvimento cient\u00edfico e tecnol\u00f3gico.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>O CENBAPAR, tamb\u00e9m conhecido como Pr\u00e9dio da Engenharia de Bioprocessos e Biotecnologia, possui uma \u00e1rea constru\u00edda de 1.500 m\u00b2 e foi viabilizado com o apoio da Secretaria de Ci\u00eancia, Tecnologia e Ensino Superior do Estado do Paran\u00e1 (SETI) e da Financiadora de Estudos e Projetos (FINEP\/MCTI), por meio do Processo 1633\/05. O investimento total no projeto foi de R$ 3.750.000,00, sendo R$ 2.000.000,00 financiados pela pr\u00f3pria UFPR.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Esse edif\u00edcio abriga cinco laborat\u00f3rios sat\u00e9lites, uma planta piloto, salas de aula, gabinetes de professores, al\u00e9m das secretarias do DEBB e do Programa de P\u00f3s-Gradua\u00e7\u00e3o em Engenharia de Bioprocessos e Biotecnologia (PPGEBB). As salas de aula s\u00e3o bem equipadas, contando com projetores multim\u00eddia, quadros, ar-condicionado, mesas e carteiras, garantindo conforto e recursos adequados para as atividades did\u00e1ticas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Atualmente, todos os espa\u00e7os do DEBB s\u00e3o utilizados de forma cont\u00ednua por um corpo docente altamente qualificado, composto por dez professores permanentes do PPGEBB. Os laborat\u00f3rios atendem a diferentes \u00e1reas de pesquisa e aplica\u00e7\u00e3o, sendo eles:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Laborat\u00f3rio de Engenharia de Bioprocessos e Separa\u00e7\u00e3o e Purifica\u00e7\u00e3o de Prote\u00ednas<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Laborat\u00f3rio de Biotecnologia Ambiental<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Laborat\u00f3rio de Bioaromas<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Laborat\u00f3rio de Cultivo Celular (LCC)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Laborat\u00f3rios de Biologia Molecular I e II<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Centrais Anal\u00edticas I e II<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Esses ambientes oferecem aos estudantes uma forma\u00e7\u00e3o pr\u00e1tica robusta, essencial para o desenvolvimento de compet\u00eancias t\u00e9cnicas nas \u00e1reas de
